CHRISTMAS PUNCH

Overview

Welcome to the cozy season, where the scent of cinnamon and oranges fills the air and brings warmth to our hearts. At Nolte Kitchens, we have the perfect recipe to bring that festive spirit into your home: our delicious Christmas punch.

For the recipe you need:

  • 4 bags of wild berry tea (or fruit tea)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 500 ml blackcurrant juice
  • 2 oranges (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 tbsp honey (if needed)

Preparation:

1. Boil the water in the cooker, put the tea bags in a saucepan and pour the freshly boiled water over them, let them steep for up to 10 minutes, depending on the type of tea. During this time, squeeze the oranges and scrape out the pulp of a vanilla bean with a knife. After the brewing time, remove tea bags from the pot.

2.Add the blackcurrant juice, the freshly squeezed orange juice and all other ingredients except the honey to the pot and bring to the boil briefly. Then let it sit on the stove for about 30 minutes over low heat. Season to taste and add the honey if necessary. Divide the finished punch through a sieve into glasses, decorate with orange slices, cinnamon stick and star anise and serve hot.
